An unofficial, simple and wonderful client for a popular conservative news website that periodically & automatically scans for new stories.
----- Usage Tips:
1. For any app that perform background tasks, iOS throttles how often it is allowed to "come alive" ... this is done in order to protect your phones battery life.
GOOD NEWS: this app has almost zero impact on battery life.
BAD NEWS: this app wont always be up-to-date when you open it ... but you can always -- manually -- "pull to refresh" your stories.
2. The more often you use ALERTS, the more frequently iOS will allow it to scan for new stories in the background.
3. ALERTS can only scan for new stories if you do not "force close" it ... so keep it open in the background!
Remember: iOS is already protecting your battery, so theres no need to force close ALERTS (or any other app, for that matter).
